Update !!!
The Face of 2005 is now being viewed in over 80 countries around the globe.
This is excellent exposure for new models and new faces to be seen by the public and industry people. Many in the industry are now aware of this competition.
Further announcements of additional major sponsors will be announced during the course of the competition running over 3 months from May 1st to July 31st 2005.
The competition is unique in that it is not just over a short period of time or limited to the opinions of an individual or small group of people.
As the competition progresses, we will be adding aditional sponsors which we are currently talking to now. Apart from this, the object of the competition is to find " the faces that the public want to see." This has the potential to lead to assignment opportunities for some of the entrants with some of our clients in the future.
GR_Productions 2002 is a Multimedia production company that covers all areas of advertising production: web, photography, print graphics, video filming and editing, sound production and multimedia presentations for companies and organisations.
While much of our work is still locally based, we are extending our client base into other countries over the coming year due to exciting developments on this front, and talent will be required on some of those contract assignments.
As this is a "people's choice competition", models with the most confirmed public votes (spamming will not be counted as votes) will be declared the winners and receive the sponsors prizes and no individual preferences from anyone involved with the running or production of this competition have any place in the decision of who should win.
Additionally, GR_Productions 2002 may also discussi future assignmet options with not only the winners, but probably others who have made the effort to be involved.
Each vote is tracked and electronically tagged. Repeat votes from the same source will not be added to a models’ vote tally to make it fair and a level playing field for all entrants.
AND
"As professionals, we are wishing to support those models which have the right professional attitude to their craft regardless of where they are born or reside normally."
While this is a very unique competition with the main focus on finding the two winners and the prizes, any enquiries that we receive will be passed on to the contestants concerned.
(As the models' details are confidential we DO NOT forward details of contestants to anyone)
We do suggest though that if this happens that you should engage a reputable agency or industry agent to act on your behalf.
So if you are a new face, have a great look or a local working model, and can do with free exposure and promotion, this could work for you.
While we have set out a criteria for entries, it soon became obvious that some entries were not complying. To save staff time in responding to these entries. we have accepted the entries on the basis that due to lack of industry experience as a model, new faces, this is all they had available.
But we do point out, that models who can read and follow instructions will be considered for assignments above those who for whatever reason don't follow the criteria for entry.
Experienced models should have a good portfolio with suitable images to meet the criteria of the competition as specified.
We trust this will be of help to those considering entering the competition.
Read all about what to do on the information page.
