I looked at her images on MM and your site... interesting style of posing... not sure I like the close up wide angle face shots... But thanks for sharing as you posted another image of her in a different message trend and wondered who she was!

...for checking out the series on Jess. She was a newcomer and didn't have a lot of experience so when we did our shoot a lot of the time was covering the basics, getting both of us relaxed and such. I hope to get her back for another shoot as I'm sure the images will be 100 percent better as they usually are when doing multiple shoots with someone.

As for the close-up headshot - sometimes you got to try something new in order to break the "routine". Doing the same things over and over just make it "safe" as you stay within a comfort zone and outstanding images don't usually come from being "safe". I liked it as it really showed off her eyes with the limited depth of field and the "in your face" look. Is it perfect? No, but it is something different from me.

I'm still not 100% on the color corrections but I've made it easier on myself by getting a monitor calibrater and a digital photo target. Sometime soon I'd like to go back and re-do the older images with the new equipment and skills.

The image in question:

Gorgious eyes and beautiful figure. Definitely a model worthy of any photographer's portfolio or projects.

As far as the close up head shot, maybe a longer focal length would help. A longer fl lens will compress the depth and make her features more appealing.
I have no lid upon my head, but if I did you could look inside and see what's on my mind.
