My name is marisa and I am a model from utica ny I have had my portfolio on wny models for about 1 year now and never got a chance to join in on the forum.very glad to see it is up an running.

Welcome aboard Marisa...

This probably wasn't the best thread to reply to.

You might have been better off either starting a new topic or posting in the "Show Off!" topic...

Reason being is that this particular poster has been critisized in the past for poor spelling (3 out of 10 words misspelled) and very poor photography (9 out of 10 photos skewed or severly pixelated).

FYI: I am not one to bash amateurs... (in fact the point of this site is to promote them and help them improve) but when people try to present themselves as something they are obviously not, I have to step in... Especially when they make no attempt to get better... (i.e.: this dude and Buffalo Models the skew/stretch king of the local modeling industry)

When people try to politely help and nothing is done, or worse yet, they become irate and have no concept of the term "skewed" nor can they identify it when it is pointed out, I need to step in and give my 98 cents....

90% of the local WNY photographers are 30-40 times better than this dude...

Sorry, but it needed to be said... And one thing people need to know about me is that when people talk about themselves in the third person... it really pisses me off...

Jimmy likes Elaine? Jimmy thinks Elaine is good? Jimmy likes to work out? ring a bell??

I have a bad memory... but how can you forget:

Me likes you pics and make yous famos modils as i am gud fotografer ands age ent for yous to be from. Yous maik hundrets for me.

Combine that with photos edited in "MS Paint Brush" in 16 color mode and then converted from a 800x600 photo to a 733x201 image.

I am bad with remembering things, but that type of stuff is pretty hard to forget.

Again, I am not normally harsh on ANYONE, but when you point out problems and nothing changes... things need to be said... especially when "joe shmoe" and "captain obvious" who know nothing about modeling and photography can spot a SERIOUS problem.
