Ya know, I gotta be honest here and say that there hasn't been a movie this year that has really stood out for me. There were some good ones, don't get me wrong, but overall I'd have to say none totally satisfied me. Shrek 2 was funny and cute but the original still rules (Donkey rules). Spiderman 2 was better then the 1st but too much CGI makes it hard to believe in and, therefore too hard to get into. Harry Potter was good but too contrived and 10 minutes too long. The Village had me out of my seat a few times but the plot has flaws and there are are some parts that don't stand up like Signs and 6th Sense.

I did see some movies on dvd this year that were pretty good. Matchstick Men was one and the other had John Cusak in it with a host of other victems in a hotel in a rainstorm with a killer on the loose. Identities maybe?

Anyhow my top overall list would have to include Jaws, Blues Brothers, Indy Jones 1 and 3, Field of Dreams (college drinking movie, btw. Try drinking every time they say the name Ray) Breakfast Club, Schindler's List, Sneakers, The Natural, Princess Bride (Good luck storming the castle, As you wish) T2, Dead Again and a few more.

I loved shrek 2 it was so cute and my kids loved it. I just seen every movie out right now and i have to say that I dont have a fav I am waiting for a couple to come out to see that may be great, although calateral with tom cruise and jamie fox was pretty good not used to seeing tom play such a different type of character but that is why they take these roles for the challange

If anyone else has any new and juicy entertainment gossip do tell. music, actors, movies, shows, commercials anythign entertainment share it !!!!
